Breastfeeding 101 - GROUP
This is a virtual, LIVE class that typically lasts between 1.5-2 hours, covering the basics of breastfeeding and overall expectations. We will discuss preparing for the first feeding, changes that occur throughout your journey, pumping (and if it’s right for you), and when to seek professional help.
Over 80% of families initiate breastfeeding, however only 25% of babies are exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months (which is the minimum recommended timeframe)! This steep drop-off is largely due to lack of education, lack of support, and lack of understanding of expectations. Together, we can prepare you for this beautiful journey, providing tips for success and community resources.
Perks of live sessions means that you are welcome to ask questions and receive immediate feedback from a Certified Lactation Specialist.
